KCP&L has teamed up with the AMERICAN RED CROSS to help those in need of relief.
Eligible people may request a fan by calling the Red Cross at (816) 841-5234. The phone is automatically answered 24 hours a day so someone can leave a name, address and phone number. A Red Cross representative will then call to schedule a time for a fan to be delivered. The individual must be home when the fan is delivered.
Fans will be distributed by volunteers from both the Red Cross and KCP&L. Because of funding from KCP&L, there will be no charge to those receiving the fans.
Don’t forget to check on your neighbors especially your elderly ones!
Don’t forget to leave plenty of water for your pets as well!
