Is a Building Permit required to re-roof my home?
Yes, a permit is required to re-roof a home. Only one layer of roofing material is allowed on any roof.
The City of Peculiar has no regulation prohibiting you from erecting a fence in an easement. Any company doing work in the easement cannot be held liable for damage caused to structures built therein. A storage shed or other accessory building cannot be erected in a recorded easement. The City recommends using Missouri One Call System (1-800-DIG-RITE) to determine the location of underground utilities before erecting a fence or accessory building.
