Patrol

Uniformed Patrol is the most visible unit within the Police Department and is responsible for patrolling areas such as city streets, subdivisions, and businesses.

These officers are also the first to respond on calls for service and must have a vast knowledge of city ordinance, state, civil, and federal laws to resolve the problems associated with these calls in a fair and intelligent manner.

Since Uniformed Patrol is on-duty 24 hours a day every day of the year, officers have a great expectation from the community to be the one resource that is always available to tackle any situation that may arise.
