Trash Collection
As of September 1, 2010 Town & Country became our new trash and
recycling service provider. Town & Country has requested that the green
poly karts and blue recycle tubs are to be set on opposite sides of the
driveway at the curb and the trash kart placed so the metal bar is
facing the road. The containers should be placed out no later than 6:30
a.m. on Fridays. Town & Country prefers that all trash be bagged and
placed in the kart. Items to be recycled do not need to be bagged and
can be placed directly in the blue recycle tub. If your trash kart is
broken and needs to be replaced, please contact Town & Country at
816-380-5595 to have a new one delivered. Please note that trash karts
will not be replaced simply because they are dirty or have an offensive
odor. Town and Country does not observe Holiday’s therefore your trash
will always be picked up on Fridays.
Town & Country offers bulk item pick up once a month. You may choose any
Friday of the month to place one bulk item at the curb for pick up at no
extra cost. Appliances are not considered bulk items and will not be
picked up, so please do not set any appliances at the curb. If you have
