Shelter & Athletic Field Reservations

Shelter Reservations

Open-air shelters make an excellent setting for functions - from casual BBQs to wedding receptions, birthday parties to family reunions. Shelters are located in beautiful, natural settings and come with tables, grills and mowed play areas. By making advanced reservations, your group will be guaranteed use of the site.

Shelter Reservations for 2016 opens Monday, March 5th. The Parks and Recreation Department reserves 3 shelter houses throughout the City.

All reservations are for the entire day. Reservations can be made Monday through Friday, during regular business hours at Peculiar City Hall located at 250 South Main.

We encourage you to call in advance or check availability online and to visit your site to ensure its suitability for your needs. An official reservation form accompanied by the full rental fee must be submitted to schedule a reservation. Reservation forms are available at City Hall.
